I recently acquired an IBM xSeries 236 server and installed ESX 3.5 update 3, upon doing so I noticed an error message in hardware health status that reads:
"processor module 80 SEL fullness"
To the far right the reading is 100 percent.
I have googled this error and found nothing relevant. The server has two Xeon 3.2GHz processors installed, it boots fine, does not show any hardware errors anywhere, from what I can tell, there appears to be nothing wrong with the server, other then this error. This error shows up under 'other' in hardware health status.
Has anyone ever seen or heard of this error? Any ideas on what I can do to correct it. The server is not yet in production and there are no VM's on it as of yet, so testing of any kind is certainly possible. The server is not under any kind of warranty with IBM so getting support from them would be on a pay as you go basis. I would like to put the server into production but I am concerned about what this error may mean.
