Id like to increase service console memory settings up to 800MB. However, swap partition is only 544MB. Does this limit the amount the service console memory can be increased to? or are the recommended swap partition sizes (2 * service console RAM allocation) best practice only. Realistically, if youve set swap partition at twice the RAM, and all physical RAM is being consumed, plus the 1600 swap file, then there are likely to be serious issues with your host.
In short, if service console memory is increased, its not totally necessary to increase the swap partition size?
