Have a Windows 2003 VM with McAfee EndPoint Encryption Manager recently installed. Every day , at least, once each day we are seeing the following alert from the EndPoint Manager: PROBLEM Service Alert: McAfee Endpoint Encryption Manager/CPU Load is WARNING. For about 5min, the CPU registers nearly 88% or highter. Likewise, performance CPU on VC for the VM shows 100% pegged during this same period. No unusual log entries exists in Event Viewer for the guest. Any ideas?
The VM is on a host that is part of a HA/DRS cluster but no indications of high CPU or memory loads on the host or cluster.
