VMFS3 datastore disappeared after VCB backup, but disk device is still visible

I have had VCB running (latest version) with no problems for months now. Suddenly, one of my VMFS datastores is now inaccessible (ie. from the datastore browser). I can still see the disk device in VC, /vmfs/devices/disks and when using fdisk -l.

 

 

The disk device is vmhba1:0:11 and the volume ID is vml.02000b000060030d905456435f444200000000000053414e73796d. The volume is a 2000GB VMFS3 volume with one virtual disk on it.

 

 

I have tried rescanning, rescanning with resignaturing, unmapping and remapping the volume. ESX hosts, VC Server and VCB proxy are at the latest rev. Nothing seems to work.

 

 

I did notice these errors in the /var/log/vmkwarning log on one of the hosts:
