Windows server 2008 failed to be added to domain and to perform windows activation after cloning a tempate and using Customization Specification

I have been unable to get a windows 2008 server to be added to a domain and to register it activation key with microsoft.  Everything esle in the Clustoomization Specification works ok.  On Virtualcenter 3.5 update 4.  Has any one got this to work ??
