HP DL585G2 and NC380T problems with ESX 3.0.1

I am trying to get this combination to work with ESX 3.0.1. Both are listed on the HCL for 3.0.1 but when we try to install ESX we get a kernel panic message and get no further.

If we take the NC380T out ESX installs fine. If we then shut the server down, install the card and reboot then we are back to a kernel panic.

Any help will be gratefully received.
