We would like to achieve High availability solution for SQL server in VMware and at the same time we are looking to use VMware HA. We thought of using Failover clustering for SQL server but then if we use failover clustering (MSCS) then clustered machines are not supported by VMware HA. The other option to achieve HA is SQL mirroring. It would be great if some one could tell us whether it is possible to implement SQL mirroring and at the same time making use of VMware HA.
