I was just given 5TB, how do i carve up the LUNs? I've read through other threads and I'm getting more and more confused. Should I have one big 5TB LUN? Or, 5 1TB? Or carve it up even more?
How would performance be impacted by our decision now? Since all of the disk on the back end is the same what difference does it make to Vmware how it's carved up? Isn't it like cutting a pizza into 4 pieces rather than 8 because I just couldn't eat 8 pieces?
