I'm running ESX server 3.0.2 with VirtualCenter 2.5.0 and VI client 2.5.0. I have a Windows 2003 Standard guest which I need to upgrade to enterprise edition. I edit the VM settings and connect the CD Drive the re ISO for enterprise however everytime I rstart the VM it wont boot from the ISO it doesnt even try. I have done this a number of times and watched the console closely but its not happening.
I know its a good ISO (I have used it to build fresh guests with it before). I could just delete the VM and start again but I would prefer not to. I'm fairly sure its a special boot setting in VMware itself but I cant find it. Any ideas?
