Is there a limit to the number of VM's per fiber card world wide name? I'm currently looking at blades to host ESX. One of the nice features is having fiber on all the blades in the chassis but, only having to run 2 fiber cables and only take up 2 ports on the switch. I was just told by Dell that there's a maximum number of VMs per world wide name. Of course, this guy didn't really sound like he knew what he was talking about. I know there's a maximum number of LUNs per host. I'm sure there's a maximum number of VMs per LUN but, maximum number of VM's per WWN?
