I know I am grasping at straws.
I was reading in a Knowledge base article .. ID: 1651
"Linux and the ESX Server service console emulate USB devices as SCSI storage devices"
Does that mean that the VMKernel also sees it as a SCSI storage device and can use it to install VM's ?
