Hi all,
Does anyone have any knowledge of any devices which would allow a VM to attach to a USB hard drive over a Gb network. I have seen some devices that will do this, but they only work at 100Mb speeds (like the Lantronix uBox, which I bought and found out about after... 
)
What I actually need to do is have a reasonably cheap device on the network to use as a backup target for multiple Server 2008 VMs. My preference is for a NAS style device with a USB drive hanging of the back that can be taken offsite, however, all the NAS boxes I have seen so far, only allow formatting of the USB drive with FAT32 which is no good for large VHD files produce by Windows Server Backup.
Any ideas, has anyone done this before?
