PowerEdge 6350 ESXi showing half Ram and datastore is way less as well

Hi, I have an old PowerEdge that I am looking to play with and possibly make it a firewall. The specs are 4 CPU's at 450MHz (or could be 550MHz) along with 4GB of RAM and three 4GB scsi drives in RAID5 (roughly 8gigs space). I have a couple of issues.

1) ESXi is only showing my server to have 2GB of RAM, yet the BIOS shows 4GB<- user error, sorry

2) the 'datastore' is only showing 3GB of storage

3) I created a VM but later deleted it and even went into the datastore section and removed the directory but it is still showing like I have the space used up, so when I go to create a new VM the datastore is showing what it was showing with the deleted VM in there<- I restarted and it was back to showing 2.5gigs free (I have transfered a few images over)

Now one thing I found interesting is that ESXi (or VM Infrastructure Client) does show an 8gig drive under configuration -> storage adapters -> details. So maybe the esxi installer needs 3 gigs? I wasn't sure if this old piece would be able to install the embedded ESXi....?

Well....whatever help/information anyone has is much appreciated, I need to go RTFM to see how to import the virtual appliances as it seems to be much different than VMServer. I transfered the directory over but can't get it to find it, anywhoo thats a problem for me to find in the manual.

Thanks again for any help
