Trying to create a new VM, when I edit the VM I get this message sometimes.

Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that memory is corrupt.

In addition, my VIC is disconnecting (disappears) when I go and edit a VM, The Virtual Infracstructure Center just dies.

Is the memory message an indication that the ISO image used for the VM is corrupt? Or possible something else.

I am trying to find a path of least resistance to simply create one VM and bring it online.

THis is 3.5 ESX. Using a Dell 2650 and trying to load the ISO image from the Dells local disk.

Thansk in advance
