Hello guys...
I use in this moment the Data Protector 6.5 to schedule the backups, VMware Consolidated Backup to make the backups and I have two LTO 4 in a HP Library, this way I can run only two VCB scripts per time but I will enable the Data Protector Licence to create Virtual Tape Device, this mode, I can run various VCB Mount scripts per time... I want run twenty VCB Scripts at once but I don't know what machine configuration I need to run these VCB Mount Scripts...
All our Data Center was built using DL380 G5 / 2 Quad-Core 2.66 Ghz / 16 GB RAM, so I use a machine like this to run the VCB Proxy. The Question is:
- Is DL380 G5 / 2 Quad-Core 2.66 GHz / 16 GB RAM sufficient to run twent VCB Mount Scripts?
Hugs...
