I'm having problem loading ESX 3.0.2 CD to install it from my Dell XPS M1710? Does anyone know how to make changes to the laptop so it can run ESX 3.0.2 for testing purposes. I was able to install workstation 6.0 and load VC 2.0.2 center server on VMs and Domain Control, SQL 2005 VMs on this M1710 laptop. I was also able to create ESX 3.0.2 VM on this laptop but I wasn't able to create VM within ESX 3.0.2 VM I've created.
I want to be able to create VM on 3.0.2 virtual machine so I can test DRS, HA, Vmotion but wasn't successful. When I insert ESX 3.0.2 CD in and turn on ESX 3.0.2 Virtual Machine and than create VM procedure but when boot up the newly created VM to start installing it see the ESX 3.0.2 CD or bootable at all?
So, I've decided to wipe out everything and install ESX 3.02 on M1710 laptop but can't install it because the screen is crash with some sort of module.....
Any help would be appreciated. Can this work on Sony VAIO VGN-SZ330P laptop too. I have two high end laptop want ESX 3.0.2 for portable lab.
