Can't ping VM, but can ping from VM

I have a Windows 2003 VM on ESX 3.0.1 box. While consoled into this VM from the virtual infrastructure client I can ping network resources, get online and pretty much do everything. However, you cannot access resources on this VM like DNS, File Shares and you cant ping either of its NIC's from the network.

What I have done so far:

Change static IP's

Had out DHCP IP's

Manually remove the NIC's from the VM from the settings tab boot up with no nics, then power off and add them back. STILL NOTHING. Can anyone help me out?
