Datastore Cleanup

I see a whole bunch of files in my subfolders of my datastores and I'm pretty sure that some are old VM hard drives that were never removed.  Is there any easy way to verify what is in use and what I can delete?  Is there a utility that can go through the datastore and delete unused files?
