Raw Device Mapping to a VM over ISCSI

Hi All

Looking for some help here on ISCSI and RDM's

I have a VM which is being used for Business Continuity for a physical server,  I want to connect it to some new SAN storage via ISCSI.

What I need to do is present the SAN's NTFS Luns to the VM over ISCSI.  Now I can see plenty of documentation about  presenting LUNS via ISCSI for VMFS datastores but how Would it work for the scenario I'm suggesting.  Is it just an ISCSI initiator software within the VM pointing to the ISCSI Target?  Would I need to add an additional Virtual NIC to the VM to route the ISCSI traffic over?  Will it be detremental to other VM's if the ISCSI traffic is flowing over a virtual switch shared by other VM's?  Would I be best creating a dedicated VSwitch with Dedicated NICs solely for that VM to isolate the Network traffic onto a different physical VLAN?

Appreciate any guidance or tips you can provide

Thanks in Advance
