New to VMWare. I wish to install VMWare and simulate Checkpoint from one pc

Hi,

You will have to bare with me, I am new to VMWare. Ive found a copy of the PDF file - Getting started with ESX Server 3i Installable guide, but not sure whether I need to click VMWare Infrastructure Client, VMWare VirtualCenter Server or Custom?

Im assuming I need to select Custom so that I can install VMWare onto my Dell PC and just create individual VMachines on the same dell pc, so that I can simulate Check Point R65, is this correct?

Also Ive downloaded the ISO .exe from the site, but what do I need to convert it to the relevant format so that I can copy in via Nero to a CD and install?
