I have 2 dl580 servers in my new vm farm. The nic ports on these servers support iscsi. The question I have is how do you enable the iscsi on the ports so that esx 3.5 sees the ports as iscsi hba's? I have a license key for each port but not sure how to apply them.
Do you have to enable software iscsi and then rely on the off load engine facility etc to work within the vm server os?
Any help or pointers is much appreciated
