Kickstart ( ks.cfg) and coping files from memory sticks

Hi all,

I have managed to get a fully working USB install of ESX which now makes 2 partitions , makes switches and configures SSH but i now require it to copy *.txt and *.tar files to a folder on the server from my memory stick. When i do any cp or mount commands it seems to ignore it and carry on installing skipping any configuration that would come after.

Is there a specific way im supposed to do this in the %post section?
