ESX 30.2 and Backup Exec 10.0

Hello,

I would like to upgrade my ESX 3.01 servers  to ESX 3.02.

But as you can see here :http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_backup_guide.pdf

Symantec backup Exec 10.0 is not supported in the new ESX 302 !

Only the new 11d release.

Did somebody already test it ?

Is backup Exec 10.0 is really not compatible with ESX 3.02 ? (by disregarding support)
