nlb unicast

Hi,

I have a question on NLB with 2 WIndows 2003 x64 EE Sp2 nodes. (ESX is 3.0.3).

With one node installed all works as it should. Host IP and NLB IP can be pinged. The moment I install the second node to the NLB the first node stops responding to ping.

If I go to vmware and disconnect the network connection on the first node that stops responding, and subsequently connect it again then node 1 can be pinged, but node 2 stops responding.

In the NLB cluster properties things are as follows:

For cluster parameters: IP, subnet and FDQN are defined. Cluster operation mode is set to Unicast. Allow remote control is disabled.

Nothing is added in Cluster IP Addresses. (A part from the primary Cluster IP Address).

In Port rules the tickbox for all cluster IP address is checked. Port range is default. Protocols is set to Both. Filtering mode is set to None

Does anybody have any suggestions?

//Martin
