ESX 3.0.1 + backupexec 10d + LSI SAS 2008

Hi, there  

I am a newbi in esx server/VMs.  Recently we are about to allocate servers from our ESX server 3.0.1 (2x 3G Mhz CPU/ 10G RAM/ 500G RAID5).

We have purchased DELL PV LTO4 120 Tape drive with LSI SAS 2008 controller and going to install it onto the ESX server then try run the BackupExec 10d as a media server within a Windows 2003 virutual server.

Here I would like to gain knowledge and experience from you experts:

1. If we can achieve the BE 10d + LSI SAS 2008 on a ESX VM? Will ESX 3.0.1 support LSI SAS 2008?

2. This media server will not only backup VMs but will also need to connect to Netware and other Windows 2003 physical servers.

Kindly shed some light for my 'virgin post' here and any of your experience/comment/idea will be highly appreciated.
